| SLENDERTONE FLEXMAX PROGRAMS: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| 1. | Remove the cover from the patterned side of the large pad. Place the pad on the mental stud between the parallel lines on the inside of the belt. |
| 2. | Remove the covers from the patterned side of the smaller pads. Place one either side of the large pad, using the positioning guides that best suit your figure. |
| 3. | Ensure each pad covers its metal stud and press the edges of each pad firmly onto the belt. Do not throw the covers away as you will need them later. |
| 4. | Battery Insertion To open the battery compartment, press the embossed arrow and slide the cover off. With the unit facing towards you, place the first of three 1.5V batteries into the right hand space with the negative (flat) end first and then push the positive end into place. Insert the second battery into the left hand space, agian with the flat end first. Finally place the third battery into the central space with the flat end last and replace the battery cover. |
| 5. | Slide the unit into the holder until it clicks into place. |
| 6. | Remove the covers from the black side of the pads. Do not dispose of these covers, as you will need them at the end of your session. |
| 7. | Wrap the belt tightly around your waist so that the large pad is centred over your navel and the two smaller pads lie directly between your hip-bones and ribs on either side of your waist. |
| 8. | Press and hold the ON/OFF button for two seconds to switch the unit on. The Unit is programmed to begin on Program 1. After a set number of sessions in each program the unit will automatically advance you to the next program. |
| 9. | Increase the intensity to level you find comfortable. The unit will automatically increase the left or right intensity to ensure that one stays no more than 10 units above the other. |
| 10. | If you wish to pause the session before the program is finished press the ON/OFF button briefly. To restart the program press the ON/OFF button briefly agian. |
| 11. | When the session is finished, the unit stops automatically. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for two seconds to switch the unit off. If you forget, the unit will automatically switch itself off two minutes after the session. Replace the covers on the black surface of the pads and pack away your unit ready for its next use. |
| 12. | For smaller sizes, the length of the belt can be shortened by folding the left and piece forwards onto the outside of the belt. A belt extension is available for larger sizes. |
The Slendertone products function through sending signals between pads that instigate muscle movement. The pads will wear out; however, the length of time the pads last is dependant on a number of factors including your skin type, how the pads are stored, and frequency of use. When used daily and in normal circumstances pads should last at least 20 sessions.
